Ralf Topper gave a presentation on coalbed methane and ground water at the AWRA Colorado Section monthly meeting for January. The talk included discussion of the processes used to extract coalbed methane. He also described the issues associated with the beneficial use of production water, including water quality and regulations affecting the produced water.
