AWRA National Conference - November 17

The AWRA National Conference was recently held in New Orleans, Louisiana during the week of November 17th. The conference was well attended and provided varying topics concerning our water resources. It was a great opportunity to visit with other professionals and learn about problems and issues they face. This year’s conference was attended by several of our Board members, some of which made presentations during the conference.

At the President’s Reception, Bill Warmack received the 2008 Outstanding State Section Award. He was supported by Laurel Stadjuhar (Past President) and Mike McHugh (2006 President) as shown in Figure 1. The award reflects all the hard work and dedication over the years by our Board and membership. Thanks for all your support!

We also had the opportunity to enjoy a fine meal at Emeril Lagasse’s NOLA restaurant and catch a few of the local sites. Great time had by all (Figure 5)!
